Formation Journey
ReWire believes discipleship is a formation process for Kingdom citizenship. We need to be formed and shaped for the Kingdom - which means we also need to unlearn the worldviews and patterns we've inherited from the culture we live in. For this reason, to prepare people for Kingdom living, ReWire's primary work is in spiritual formation. We've developed formation pathways that are specifically tuned towards this transformation.
Our formation pathway is intentional. It is our strategy to create Kingdom Outposts. We've broken down our formation pathway into three phases - forming Jesus followers to become Kingdom citizens, forming Kingdom citizens into Kingdom communities (Kingdom Outposts), and sustaining Kingdom communities with vital resources.
Phase 1: Kingdom Calibration
ReWire's Kingdom Outpost Formation Journey begins with a phase we call, "Kingdom Calibration." The journey begins with formation courses designed to:
Either introduce or deepen participant's contemplative life (increasing intimacy with Jesus)
Introduce and create a sense of responsive urgency to Jesus' Kingdom vision and to Jesus as King.
Instigate angst that leads participants to seek deeper connection with God and greater solidarity with the poor, oppressed, and suffering.
Find community gathered around the same formation experience that will support and motivate commitment to continuing the journey together.

Phase 2: Kingdom Outpost Incubation
There are two pathways from which participants may choose the direction of their continued formation:
Cohorts desiring to continue in the process towards becoming a Kingdom Outpost will choose Deep Waters as their formation pathway.
Leaders desiring to immerse in ReWire spirituality and pedagogy will choose Synergy so that they can be the primary formation guide for Kingdom Outpost formation and discipleship in their own contexts.
Deep Waters
The journey of becoming a Kingdom Outpost community begins in the Incubation Phase. During this phase, developing communities commit to a 1-year community formation intensive called Deep Waters.

Synergy
Synergy develops ReWire spirituality and pedagogy in leaders so they can guide others in the Kingdom Outpost Formation Journey. If you want to bring ReWire formation courses, workshops, or Deep Waters to your own context, your process begins with Synergy.
Immersion into ReWire spirituality and formation pedagogy.
Increase leader’s capacity to bring ReWire formation into their own context.
Phase 3: Kingdom Outpost Vitality
Once a Kingdom Outpost journeys together through Deep Waters and becomes established in their expression of Kingdom life, ReWire is committed to the ongoing vitality of the Outpost in a variety of ways. After completing Deep Waters, ReWire is committed to offering a $1,000 grant for new Kingdom Outpost communities to support their continuing life together.
ReWireU+PLUS Advanced Pathways offers additional opportunities for communities to invest in their continued spiritual formation.
ReWire consistently offers workshops focused on vital community skills and practices.
The ReWire Hub offers space for networking, collaboration, and support across a broad network of practicing Outpost communities.
The Kingdom Imagination Lab gives Kingdom Outpost practitioners opportunities to facilitate and feed back into the development of future Outpost discipleship.
ReWire Consulting Services works directly with established, more traditionally structured churches, congregations, and leadership teams to instruct them to support the flourishing life of their own Kingdom Outposts.
What is ReWireU?
ReWireU is ReWire's online center for missional living and offers a variety of easily accessible spiritual formation courses and cohorts. Our virtual formation courses are facilitated live, by experienced ReWire directors. Each course space is private to those participating in each cohort and our environments are intended to be dynamic, offering true spiritual formation online.
