ReWire Consulting Services

Our approach is rooted in the belief that every church has a unique calling and capacity for transformation. By integrating proven models of missional engagement and spiritual formation, we help churches move beyond traditional paradigms to become dynamic communities of faith, service, and growth

Our goal is to reimagine the Church for Mission and Formation in our hurting world.  So, at ReWire, we partner with churches to re-envision their structures, leadership, and discipleship models, aligning them with the missional and formational heart of Jesus. Drawing inspiration from pioneering communities, we offer tailored consulting services to help your church embody its unique calling in today’s context.

Our Consulting Services

  • ReWire Surveys & Assessments

Surveys: We begin by understanding your current landscape through comprehensive surveys. Each survey is customized to capture beliefs about the churches current effectiveness in their discipleship model.

Assessments: Having a picture of where our church is not enough.  Churches also need an assessment of that data we collect and a vision from that data of how to move forward.  ReWire offers retreats to church leaders to give vision, prayer and discernment around how the church moves forward. We call these retreats Essentials.  Click here for your free survey.

  • ReWire Discipleship

Missional Spiritual Formation - We help teams transition from traditional discipleship models to ones that emphasize mission-oriented spiritual growth through two programs:

    • Beyond: A series of workshops that offers a spiritual formation process designed to transform people into difference-makers, agents of change. This process extends beyond mere information and provides structures that allow deep inner work to flourish.

    • Deep waters: Deep Waters is a 1-year covenant community formation intensive. The Deep Waters process is designed for missionally centered micro-communities in order to establish sustainability in formation, community, and mission.

  • ReWire Leadership

We equip and coach leaders with the skills to cultivate a vision and offer deep spiritual guidance in their community. We do this work through two programs:

Missional Leader Cohorts: Missional Leader Cohorts (MLC) are a set of 5 retreats over two years that are designed to provide direction for you to rethink, retool, and renew your leadership. This is done in a community of pastors/leaders who are on the same missional journey.

Synergy Training: Synergy is a self-paced journey of soul care and soul equipping. This process will help you increase your effectiveness in discipleship.

  • ReWire Church Structure

The last and least formal consulting service we offer has to do with church structure. This is because not only is it the last step that should be taken in the rewiring process the one that needs the most contextual understanding.

Missional and Micro Church Models: Drawing inspiration from missional church models, we accompany you in restructuring your church to be more missionally effective and community-oriented.

Lakeside Church

ReWire transformed Lakeside Church into a missional force for good in a San Francisco neighborhood that serves and nurtures the poor in their city.

  • Lakeside Church, an established Presbyterian church facing challenges with stagnation and an unclear missional call. ReWire proposed our Essentials Program and providing Formation Training to the Pastor and Church Community.

  • To address these issues, ReWire partnered with Lakeside’s pastoral team to implement a spiritual formation program rooted in social justice.  The new program featured major curriculum interventions, including the implantation of the Essentials program and including the work with church leadership to implement the creation of sustainable kingdom outpost groups.

  • Since implementing the new consulting programs and training 30 leaders, Lakeside Church has seen significant improvements:

    • Service to the Poor: Over 25 adults have organized and delivered food and prayer weekly to the poor in their San Francisco neighborhood. They moved delivery outside the church walls so more people would feel comfortable attending. Now, they feel reconnected with Jesus and seek deeper connections with the poor and their church alike.

    • Opened Doors to another Church: A local church was in need of space for their services but had very little money to purchase space in San Francisco. The Lakeside pastor and the group of 25 adults decided to open up their church chapel for these strangers. They now mix services between the chapel and the sanctuary while singing and praying together.

    • Committed to Formation and Prayer: The congregation and staff of Lakeside are committed to the spiritual formation process. They have participated in ReWire’s core curriculum, run retreats, and have shared their spirituality with the city of San Francisco for the last 10 years.

This case study highlights the importance of investing in a group of people with missionary hearts. They were able to put others before themself while seeing God in all people. Lakeside's success demonstrates that a well-designed skill based and contemplative program can be a powerful tool for growth of our people and more importantly, our church.
